Union Minister of Steel Chaudhary Birender Singh presided over the hair the proceedings of maiden regional conference of Eastern States at Gangtok, Sikkim on 2nd March, 2017. The maiden regional
conference will be on the theme of ‘Enhancing (बढ़ाना) steel consumption (उपभोग) in India’ The conference will be first of the four regional conferences being planned across India to become a leader in innovative use of steel in India.
