MEITY to promote digital transactions in place of NITI

The Ministry of IT and Electronics (MEITY) has taken the the responsibility NITI Aayog to promote the digital transactions in India. MEITY is responsible for promotion of e-governance for empowering citizens as well as promoting inclusive (समावेशी)and sustainable(सतत) growth of electronics and IT in the country. It is also responsible for encouraging(उत्साहजनक) the growth of IT-enabled services industries. Now NITI Aayog will focus on monitoring(निगरानी) and suggesting ways to improve various government schemes rather than getting involved with implementation(कार्यान्वयन) .
