World Bank Group, IFC to Conduct Training Programmes for NBFCs
The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a part of the World Bank Group has partnered(भागीदारी) with Finance Industry Development Council (FIDC) to conduct training programmes for Non Banking Finance Companies (NBFCs). For this two engagement letters have been signed between IFC and
FIDC on February 14, 2017 in New Delhi between Jun Zhang, IFC India Country Head and Raman Aggarwal, Chairman of FIDC, a representative body for NBFCs, especially those engaged in asset financing. The training programmes will focus on ‘movable asset financing’ and ‘commercial credit reporting’. It would be held at various centres across the country under the guidance(दिशा निर्देश)  of leading (प्रमुख)consultants from the World Bank Group. The training programme is expected to enhance (बढ़ाने)the awareness, expertise and professionalism of NBFCs, especially the large number of small and medium sized NBFCs catering to the credit needs in rural and semi-urban areas.
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is an international financial institution that offers investment, advisory(सलाहकार) , and asset (संपत्ति) management services to encourage private sector development in developing countries.
