WBSSC Clerk Admit Card 2017 Released; Written Exam On March 5 the West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has issued the admit cards to candidates who has opted and will be appearing for clerk examination. The clerk examination is scheduled to be conducted on March 5th, 2017. WBSSC clerk admit card 2017 were released yesterday on February 20th and can be
downloaded from the official website www.westbengalssc.com. On the homepage of the said website, candidates will find the section “Download Admit Card for Non-Teaching Staff [Clerk] in c/w 3rd RLST, 2016”, where the application ID and date of birth details should be filled in to get the admit card.

WBSSC clerk examThe commission, WBSSC, on September 23rd, 2016 had notified of the advertisement for 1st ever state selection test for recruitment of Assistant Teachers in upper primary level positions. The recruitment concludes hiring in hill regions and also for the posts of physical education and work education. The application submission process had been carried out from 23rd Sept to 3rd Oct, 2016. This recruitment process is underway to fill up 14,088 vacancies including group D staff posts and non-teaching posts (clerks).

The mode of the examination is written. The written test for group D staff posts has already been conducted on 19th February and the clerk exam will be held on 05th March 2017.

The clerk written examination will consist of 60 questions for 60 marks. Questions will come from four sections i.e., General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General English, and Arithmetic, with each section having 15 questions for 15 marks. The candidate would also have to appear before the authorities as a mandatory mode in selection criteria along with having to take a typing and computer proficiency test.

As per the instructions received from the board for candidates, the candidates should reach the examination hall at least 30 minutes prior the commencement of the test. The test will be held from 12 noon to 1 pm. The visually handicapped candidates will be given 20 minutes extra at the end of the exam.

Note: It is mandatory to carry your admit card at the time of examination. Also mind to follow these instructions set by the WBSSC. The details of your exam venue will be mentioned in the admit card itself.
