Veteran RSS Activist Gangadayal Awasthi Passes Away
Eminent social worker and RSS activist Gangadayal Awasthi passed away on February 17, 2017 at his residence in Thane, Mumbai. He died at the age of 100. Awasthi belongs to Uttar Pradesh. He moved (ले जाया गया) to Thane nearly 30 years ago. He was recently honoured by Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Kashi Sumeru Peeth Swami Narendrananda Saraswati. He was very close to some of the senior
RSS leaders including Guru Golwalkar, Shyamaprasad Mukherji, Deendayal Upadyaya and A B Vajpayee.
