Sandeep Jajodia Appointed New President of Assocham 

Sandeep Jajodia, the CMD of Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd. Has been appointed the new president of industry chamber Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) on February 13, 2017. Jajodia has replaced Sunil Kanoria, the vice-chairman, Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited.

Besides, Balkrishan Goenka, Chairman, Welspun Group has been appointed as the senior vice-president while Kiran Kumar Grandhi, vice-chairman of GMR Infrastructure Ltd, has been appointed as the vice-president of the industry body. 

Assocham will continue to play a transformational role both nationally and globally and the chamber will empower(सशक्त बनाना)  Indian enterprises by focusing on the most critical and relevant issues in a highly impact-oriented(उन्मुख)  manner
