Norway Nobel Committee Chairwoman Kullmann Dies At 65
Chair-woman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Kaci Kullmann Five, died on February 19, 2017. She was 65. Norwegian Nobel Committee is responsible(उत्तरदायी) to select the Peace Prize laureates(विजेताओं). Former businesswoman of Norway, Kullmann served as trade and shipping
minister from 1989-1990 and was the leader of the Conservative Party from 1991-1994.  In 2003, Kullmann became a member of the Norwegian Nobel committee while was elected chair in 2015. She was among the decision makers who honoured(सम्मानित) former US vice president Al Gore (2007), former US president Barack Obama (2009), Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo (2010), and Iranian human rights activist Shirin Ebadi (2003).
