Maharashtra to set up committee to study Union budget MUMBAI: The Maharashtra state government has decided to set up a committee of secretaries to analyze (विश्लेषण)the Union Budget who will study and submit suggestions to receive maximum funds for the state through various schemes. State finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar stated that the committee will comprises (शामिल) 5-6
secretaries from various departments, who will study the Union budget and find out best way to bring  (लाओ ) more centrally funded schemes. "The committee will submit its report before its own state budget due in middle of March next month," said the minister. "Although (हालांकि ) it is not sole responsibility of the finance department, but sometimes the related departments found difficulty (कठिनाई) in bringing maximum funds and schemes from the Center. In schemes which are partly funded by both the Center and the state, the state government shall also try to enhance (बढ़ाने) its own contribution," added Mungantiwar.
