Eligibility Criteria for SRF Posts

Educational Qualification

    Senior Research Fellow (Plant Pathology) : Master’s degree in Plant Pathology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015).
    Senior Research Fellow (Agronomy) : Master’s degree in Agronomy with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015).

Age Limit

Gen: 35 Years

OBC : 3 Years Relaxation

SC/ST/ Women : 5 Years relaxation
