Health Department is going to celebrate National De-worming (कृमिनाशक ) Day on February 10. Free Medicines (Albendazole) will be administered to children of age group 1-19 years. This year health department has decided to meet target of 1.12 Crore beneficiaries all over state. Health officers informed that over 1.5 lakh Mitanins and Aanganbadi workers have been trained for the drive.Deputy

Director, Dr. Khemraj Sonwani and Chief Medical Officer, Dr K S Shandilya informed the media persons that the drive will be carried out all over the country on February 10. Tablet Albendazole will be given half tablet to children of age group 1-2 years and one full tablet to children of age group 2-19 years. As per information received from World Health Organisation there are 22 crore children of age group 1-19 years are infected with worms. The symptoms(लक्षण)  are lack of blood, laziness(आलस)  among children, malnutrition(कुपोषण) , blocked in body growth.
