Govt approves India-Rwanda Air Services Agreement The Government approved signing of an Air Services Agreement (ASA) between India and Rwanda to allow the airlines of the two countries to operate services in each other's territory(क्षेत्र) . Rwanda national carrier RwandAir has already announced its plans to launch its air services to India from the next fiscal with four flights per week to
Mumbai. The Union Cabinet, which met here under by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the signing of Air Services Agreement (ASA) between India and Rwanda, an official release said. The agreement would provide enabling environment for enhanced and seamless (निर्बाध) connectivity while providing commercial opportunities(सुनहरे अवसर) to the carriers of both the sides ensuring greater safety and security, an official release said. The agreement has the potential (क्षमता) to spur(प्रेरणा) greater trade, investment, tourism and cultural exchange between India and Rwanda, bringing it in tune with developments in the civil aviation sector, it added.
