Shah Rukh Khan Named for 4th Yash Chopra Memorial Award
Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan, commonly known as SRK, has been named for the 4th Yash Chopra Memorial Award. The award would be presented to the actor at a function in Mumbai on February 25, 2017. The actor will receive Rs 10 lakh, a gold medal, and a certificate as part of the
award. Shah Rukh Khan was chosen as the recipient by a four-member jury, consisting of Dr T. Subirami Reddy, Pamela Chopra, Padmini Kolhapure and Boney Kapoor. Yash Chopra Memorial Award was instituted by the T. Subirami’s TSR Foundation as a tribute to the director Yash Chopra after his death in 2012. Previous recipients of the award includes Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha
