pawan turns handloom brand ambassador Janasena Chief and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan voluntarily came forward to become the brand ambassador for handlooms produced in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He took this decision as he was moved by the plight of the weavers. A group of representatives from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh met Pawan Kalyan at Jana Sena Party office in
Hyderabad and invited him to attend the weavers’ Satyagraha, which is going to be held at Mangalagiri in Guntur next month. They also informed that more than 45 textile workers have committed suicide in last two years in Telangana alone. Pawan has given his nod to attend the event. Describing weaving of cloth as an indigenous skill, Pawan agreed to be their brand ambassador, also assured to promote handloom industry and do whatever he can to the help of weavers.
On the other side, currently Pawan is busy in his ongoing project ‘Katamarayudu’, directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasany alias Dolly starring Shruti Hassan.
