NIEPID (NIMH) Recruitment 2017 for 35 Research Officer & Project Assistant Posts National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID), erstwhile NIMH invited applications for recruitment to the post of Research Officer, Assistant Research Officer and Project Assistant. The candidates eligible for the post can attend interview on 16 January 2017 from

Eligibility Criteria for NIEPID (NIMH) Research Officer & Project Assistant Posts:

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• Research Officer: M.Phil in relevant area & Disability Rehabilitation, M.Ed. SE (MR), M.Phil in Rehab/Clinical Psychology with two years post qualification experience in teaching/research in the relevant area OR Two years Master Degree in relevant area, Psychology and Two years post graduation with DVTE (MR)/DVR (MR) with Basic knowledge of MS word, power point, excel.

• Assistant Research Officer: M.Phil in relevant area, M.Phil (SE-MR) with one year post qualification experience in the relevant area/research OR Master Degree in relevant area, M.Ed (SE-MR), Social Work with two years post qualification experience in the relevant area/research OR Master Degree with B.Ed SE (MR)/D.Ed SE (MR)/DECSE and two years post qualification experience in the relevant area OR Graduation with DVTE (MR)/DVR (MR) and two years post qualification experience in relevant area with basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

• Project Assistant: Graduate with DVR/ DVTE (MR) OR Intermediate with DVR/DVTE (MR) with 3 years post qualification experience in relevant field, Typing skills with 30 words per minute and basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Selection Process for NIEPID (NIMH) Research Officer & Project Assistant Posts:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Interview.
