CAT 2016 Results announced; Check the result at iimcat.ac.in The result for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2016 has been announced on 9th January 2016 by IIM Bangalore on the official website. For this year, CAT was conducted on 04th December, 2016 in two sessions at the specified centers. Participants those have appeared for CAT – 2016 now need to visit official website regularly

for checking their result. The CAT 2016 result can be declared on 09 January 2017.

1. First of all the candidates should visit the official website

2. Click on the link, ‘Score Card' icon as shown below in the snapshot. After clicking the button, you will be redirected to another window.

3. Enter the necessary login details then after submitting necessary information

4. The result/percentile/scorecard of CAT 2016 will be displayed on the screen.

5. The candidates can take a printout of their result for future official use.

Note: Authority will also inform all participants through SMS about their result.

CAT 2016: Exam Analysis Slot I

As we know that the selection process for admission in various IIMs may be consisted of Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interviews (PI). The score card of this year CAT will be valid till 31st December, 2017. If a candidate is shortlisted for interviews / GD by any IIM then that candidate must present following documents for eligibility verification at the time of interview / GD / document verification:

    Mark sheets and degree of Bachelor degree

    Reservation category certificate (if belong to reserved category)

    If candidate is appeared for final year examination of bachelor degree then he / she must present a letter issued by the competent authority mentioning that candidates has obtained specified marks in the examination.
