AMMTLPO shine in 5th Federation Cup All Manipur Muay Thai Lovers and Players Organisation bagged a total of seven gold medals including five gold and two silver in the 5th Federation Cup Amateur Muaythai National Championship organised jointly by All India Amateur Muaythai Federation, Imphal, Manipur and All Assam Amateur Muaythai Association at Laxmibai National Institute of
Physical Education, Tapesia Indoor stadium, Sonapur, Guwahati from Jan 5 to 8.
Besides, the team emerged the runners up of the championship.
The gold medal winners from AMMTLPO were Naorem Gambhir Mangang (sub-junior boys 32 kg), Chongtham Achanba Singh (sub-junior boys 59 kg), Nongmaithem Pradip Singh (junior 57 kg), Saikhom Sonal Singh (youth 64 kg) and Ningthoujam Dipak Singh (senior 54 kg). The silver medal winners were Yumnam Arnold Singh (sub-junior 57 kg) and Taorem Sadananda Singh (junior 62 kg), according to a statement.
