Staff Selection Commission is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India. SSCNR has released the notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2016 released on October 8. This exam is conducted to fill vacancies for the post of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators (DEO), Lower Divisional Clerks(LDC) and Court Clerk. According to Commission, The exams will begin on January 7 and will continue till February 5. The total number of vacancies for this post was 5,133.
