Salman Khan BMC’s ODF drive brand ambassador New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has accepted an offer by Brihan mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to become the brand ambassador for its Open Defecation Free drive. As a brand ambassador of the civic’s body drive, Salman will help BMC in keeping the megapolis clean in tune with the Centre’s Swachh Bharat
campaign. He met municipal commissioner Ajoy Meheta and accepted this proposal on Sunday. The 50 year old actor also decided to donate five state of the art mobile toilets for the campaign. Earlier, BMC had declared 12 out of Mumbai’s 24 wards ODF (Open Defecation Free) and chalked out an action plan for other wards, which it aims to make ODF by the end of the year.
