PM Modi to address farmers, inaugurate Amul unit in Gujarat Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a cheese plant set up with state-of-the-art technology at a cost of 350 crore rupees at the milk co-operative dairy plant of Banas dairy in Banaskantha district of Gujarat on Saturday. Visiting the Deesa town in Banaskantha district of North Gujarat after 28 years, Prime Minister Modi address
farmers and milk producers from the region. Preparations are in full swing and adequate security arrangements line up in Deesa town. Cheese plant at the Banas dairy has a capacity of producing 30 metric tonne cheese daily.
With better revenue through this project, the milk producers will be given good prices of their produce in future. 

Prime Minister will also inaugurate a Whey plant, which has a capacity of 40 metric tonne per day. 

Two powder products are to be produced as per market demand through this plant. Milk of the famous Kankrej variety of cow of this area will be used to produce Whey powder. 

The Prime Minister will address the public rally at airstrip ground in Banaskantha. 

Since August PM Modi has visited the state five times and addressed public meetings in Saurashtra, Central and South Gujarat and Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar. He will also kickstart Golden Jubilee year celebration of the dairy.
