Plastic-free day observed on December 8 in Kochi plastic Free Dayi. Plastic Free Day is observed on December 8, 2016 by the Kochi Corporation as a part of the Haritha Keralam Mission.  Objective:  Cleanliness and water conservation . People were instructed not to use plastic carry bags on December 8(Plastic free day)  and shop-keepers are supported to this initiative
