Nanoceramic material material for safer, economical nuclear reactors created

Nanoceramic material material for safer, economical nuclear reactors created Scientists have created a nanoceramic material which will be used to produce safer and economical nuclear reactors. This can be used at higher temperatures and radiation fields, producing energy efficiently and the material becomes tougher under radiation. Generally, water has been used as the primary coolant in
reactors, absorbing the heat released from fission reactions. Water poses fewer risks of corrosion damage to materials and in advanced reactors, increasing their temperature is the best way to increase energy production.
What is Nuclear Reactors :
♦ A nuclear reactor is a system that contains and controls sustained nuclear chain reactions.
♦ Reactors are used for generating electricity, moving aircraft carriers and submarines, producing medical isotopes for imaging and cancer treatment, and for conducting research.
