International Mountain Day observed with the theme ‘Mountain Cultures: Celebrating diversity and strengthening identity’ International Mountain Dayi. Every Year 11th December is celebrated as “International Mountain Day” to create awareness about the importance of mountains to life. Aim : To highlight Mountain Cultures. Mountains host communities with ancient cultures and
traditions, and are places of religious worship, pilgrimage and rituals all over the world.
