(PGDBF) course to be conducted at Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking (IBMSB) for recruitment of Probationary officer. Indian Bank in partnership with Manipal Global Education Services Private Limited (MGES), Bengaluru will be conducting PGDBF, to provide training in Banking and Finance to prospective candidates aspiring to join Indian Bank as Probationary Officer. The candidates eligible for the post can apply in prescribed format on or before 22 December 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for Probationary Officer Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Probationary Officer  : candidate should have completed Graduation from a recognised university  with minimum 60% from a recognised university to t be eligible to apply for Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance.

Selection Process for Probationary Officer Posts

Candidate will be selected on the basis of online examination. Shortlisted candidates will undergo 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) comprising of 9 months of classroom studies  at  MGES  Bengaluru  and  3  months  internship  at  Indian Bank’s   branches and will be given opportunity to join Indian Bank  as  Probationary Officer. 

Preliminary Examination: Examination will be of objective type consisting of 100 questions of 1 mark each and will consist of questions on Reasoning, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude.

Mains Examination: Examination will be of objective type consisting of 200 questions of 1 mark each, will be of 02 hours duration, and will consist of questions on Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Candidates additionally have to take a descriptive English language test (Letter writing and Essay) the maximum score for examination will be 50 marks and consist of 02 questions.
