 Humanoid robot developed to help customers at banks A Coimbatore based software engineer and designer Vijay has developed a humanoid robot, which can perform multiple functions like helping customers at banks by answering different Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).Vijay claimed that the newly designed robot will help to decrease the work load on bankers by helping customers from

opening and account to giving related information on already existing accounts.

"For example, if a customer walks into a bank, the robot can tell him good morning, good afternoon, how can I help you and would you like to be interested in opening an account in the bank etc. 

Vijay said, “This robot helps bank customers by telling them how to open account and also gives info of existing accounts, understands 15 languages including French, Korean, Chinese and Japanese, etc and we are implementing Indian languages very soon." 

The robot can give all information on core banking solutions to the customer. 

However, Vijay said that robots can be a part of our lives, not a replacement of a human of course.
