Union Bank loan scheme for start-ups, Union Bank of India has launched a New loan scheme to support and promote start-ups at its 98th Foundation Day celebrations. Under this new scheme, the bank will provide the  finance up to Rs.5 crore with no processing fee. Union Bank honoured  five personalities with lifetime achievement awards.They are Missionaries of Charity (St Teresa) in the field

of social work, Devi Prasad Shetty in the field of medicine, Mary Kom in the field of sports and Anil Kakodkar in the field of science.
