Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to give immediate stay on all proceedings at various high courts concerning demonetisation. The apex court tell Centre that at different places people have raised different concerns. The SC also issued notice to petitioners who have challenged demonetisation move before different high courts. The matter has been posted for further hearing on 2nd of December. The
Centre has informed the Supreme Court that the situation has been brought under control and the queues have become shorter. Government also said the situation is being monitored on an hourly basis.
