‘Red Carpet Events of the Evening – 21st November’ .At the red carpet event on the second night of the 47th IFFI, the Country of Focus section was opened with the screening of the South Korean drama film ‘Tunnel’ with its cast and crew (pic 1). The world premiere of the ‘Aloko Udapadi’ an upcoming Sinhalese epic historical film based on the story of King Valagamba of Anuradhapura was held as a gala

screening in Goa with its cast and crew. The Director of the film Chathra Weeraman (Pic 2) addressed the audience. ‘Shankhachil’, the Bengali historical drama film directed by Goutam Ghose (centre in pic 3) was showcased in the Indian Panorama section today evening.  The film has won the Best Feature Film in Bengali award at 63rd National Film Awards.
