President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday presented the awards of Standards to 501 Signal Units and 30 squadrons of Indian Air Force. During a function at Ambala Airforce Station, President Mukherjee was given Rashtriya Salute. He also released special covers and brochures of Indian Airforce. Photo Exhibition was also organised on the occasion. Parade March by the Indian Air Force personnel was one of the main
attractions of the function. Speaking on the occasion, the president said though the country remained firmly committed to peace, that we use all our might to protect the sovereignty of the nation.
