Prasar Bharati and VBU ink MoU

 Prasar Bharati and VBU ink MoU .A Memorandum of understanding between Viswa Bharati University in Shantiniketan and Prasar Bharati was signed on Monday to promote and preserve art and culture. Both the organisations will use each other's expertise for the purpose. This will also enable both the organisations preserve invaluable collections and recordings in their custody. Welcoming the

agreement, Prasar Bharati chairman, Dr. A Suryaprakash said this agreement between the educational institution and the largest public service broadcaster in the world will pave the way for new vistas in cooperation.

Prasar Bharati CEO, Suresh Chandra Panda said broadcasting of programmes from Akashwani, Shantiniketan will be extended by three hours and will begin from six in the morning. 

Viswa Bharati University Vice Chancellor, Dr. Swapan Dutta hoped that cooperation between the two organisations will further increase in future. 

An interaction between heads of departments of Viswa Bharati University and Prasar Bharati officials was also organised.
