New Species Of Fish Discovered In China, A research fellow from the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Xu Guanghui discovered new species of fish in China. The new fish is named as eltopleurus nitidus sp. This was published by Science Bulletin on November 14.It is the type of oldest and most primitive representative of the ovoviviparous neopterygian fish. It has shed
fresh light on research of the evolution and internal fertilisation of the neopterygian group of fish, according to Chinese scientists.
