India & Switzerland Sign ‘Joint Declaration’ for the implementation of Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI). Sushil Chandra, Chairman, Central Board of Direct Taxes and Gilles Roduit, Deputy Chief of Mission of Swiss Embassy in India signed a ‘joint declaration’ for automatic exchange of information (AEOI) on November 22, 2016 for the implementation of Automatic Exchange of
Information (AEOI) between the two countries. From now India will be possible to receive the financial information of accounts held by Indian residents in Switzerland for 2018 and subsequent years from September 2019 onwards.
