ICSI’s 44th National Convention held in Gandhinagar

AHMEDABAD, NOVEMBER 17:  Emphasising on the need of the highly skilled professionals in the field of finance and corporate governance, the top leaders of ICSI stated that well-structured governance for the stakeholders is needed to bring the positive transformation. At the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)’s 44th National Convention themed on “Powering Governance -
Empowering Stakeholders, CS - The Governance Professional”, Mamta Binani, President of ICSI, stated that Power-driven governance is a key to empower the people of the nation and the nation as a whole.

In his inaugural address, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani stated, “True empowerment of our country needs appropriate strategy to embark upon the challenges like poverty elimination, agricultural reforms, co-operation between Centre and States, transparency, judicious delivery of services, job creation, development of infrastructure and setting up of business with ease and convenience.”

MS Sahoo, Chairman of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India; and Bimal Chaudhary, MD of Anmol Biscuits Ltd, besides company secretaries from across the country were present at the conference, which was held at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
