Chandrababu Naidu commissions 5 MW solar power plant in West Godavari village. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu commissioned a 5 MW solar power plant on the Polavaram right canal bund at Gollagudem village in West Godavari district on November 21, 2016.
About Solar Power Plant :
i. The plant was set up at a cost of Rs 37.58 crore in 37 acres. It will produce 8.06 million units of power annually.
ii. India’s first solar park with a capacity of 250 MW in Anantapuramu district in Andhra Pradesh, few months before
iii. Now the overall installed capacity of solar energy is 1000 MW.
