12 national highway projects of Rs 6068 cr cleared, Government has approved 12 national highway projects worth Rs 6,067.9 crore and totalling 476.386 km in eight states. The 12 projects were cleared by the Standing Finance Committee and will come up in the states of Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, West Bengal, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, an official statement said
here today. As many as nine projects would come up in Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) mode, while two on Hybrid Annuity mode and one on OMT.

A total of four projects worth Rs 3954 crore would come up in Maharashtra which includes 4/6 laning of Aurangabad-Telwadi section of national highwat-211 (new NH-52).

Two projects worth Rs 370 crore have been approved for Manipur, while four-laning of national highway-415 (Itanagar to Banderdewa section) in Arunachal Pradesh had been approved at a cost of Rs 342 crore, the statement said.UNI RBE SW RJ 1702
