US President Election: Stage set for second Presidential debate

The venue at the Washington University in St. Louis is all set to host the high voltage debate between U.S. Presidential candidates, Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump. The second debate is taking place exactly one month ahead of the November 8 election. Already under pressure after the first debate that boosted Hillary Clinton's ratings, Donald Trump is also facing an all round
criticism for his alleged 'lewd' remarks against women.

The recording of the incident that dates back to 2005 was released recently and has caused further embarrassment to the Republican camp.

More than 60 prominent Republican current and former officeholders, including House Speaker Paul Ryan and party's 2008 Presidential candidate John McCain, have issued statements condemning Trump's comments, while several others including John Kasich have called for Trump to end his presidential bid.

Trump's apology over his comments did not appear to rescue him from the latest calamity while he called the footage of his comments a "distraction" from bigger political issues.

The episode is just another addition to a series of controversies the Business Tycoon has been sparking throughout his campaign.

Among the Indian diaspora, opinion is divided over their support to the two main candidates, with some calling Trump a better one for the businesses while others feel his take on immigration is problematic.

Indian-American community in one of the strongest and biggest diaspora in the U.S. This is the reason that both, Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump, have been campaigning aggressively to woo the community.
