Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would inaugurate a three-day MP Travel Mart on October 15 in Bhopal besides distributing awards to winners in the MP tourism awards distribution programme.Three day MP Travel mart will be held at Bhopal. Travel Mart will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on October 15 at 9.00 a.m. Chouhan will also distribute
awards to winners in the MP Tourism Awards Distribution programme. Total 30 awards are being given in 22 categories. Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (Independent Charge) Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare Surendra Patwa and Chairman of State Tourism Development Corporation Tapan Bhoumik will specially remain present on the occasion. Around 70 representatives from 25 countries, 175 representatives from the country and 80 representatives related to Travels and Tour Operators Association are expected to take part in the third edition of Travel Mart.
Deliberations on scope of tourism industry increase in the number of tourists, investment in tourism sector and encouragement to international tourism besides hotels and hospitality.
Presentation focusing on efforts being undertaken for tourism scope in Madhya Pradesh will be given by the Secretary Tourism and Managing Director of Tourism Development Corporation Hari Ranjan Rao in the MP Travel Mart. Views will be exchanged on wide scope in tourism sector to accelerate tourism development. Representatives of Indian Association of Tour Operators, Travel Agent Association of India, Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association and Adventure Tour Operator will take part in the MP Mart.
