Bharath, Lisa claim top honours in 100M

Bharath L and Lisa Kariappa emerged winners in the 100 metres race of their respective age categories in the BUDAA Athletic championship at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium here on Sunday.Bharath clocked 10.9 seconds to bag the gold in the under-20 boys’ 100M event. He was followed by Sandesh AR (11.0 seconds) in the second place. Nidarshan KE in a time of 11.4 seconds

won the bronze. In the under-18 girls’ 100M, Lisa timed 12.8 seconds to finish ahead of Shravya (13.1 seconds) and Shubhra Prabhu (13.4), who came second and third respectively.
