The four-day festival has announced its first six films– South Korean drama “A Korean in Paris”, cinematographer- director Rajiv Ravi’s “Kammatipaadam”, Marathi film “Lathe Joshi”, “Sonita”, which is about Afghan rapper Sonita Alizadeh, British documentary “Syrian Love Story” and Thai film “The Island Funeral”. The directors of all these movies will be coming to the festival to present
their films and participate in Q&A sessions. Festival directors, Ritu and Tenzing, are determined that the event will maintain its established momentum. “This is our fifth year and it means a great deal to us to have reached this milestone,” said Ritu.

• DIFF is presented by White Crane Arts & Media, a trust founded by Ritu and Tenzing to promote contemporary cinema, art and independent media practices in the Himalayan regions of India.

The Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) is an international film festival showcasing the best of recent Indian and world cinema, including fiction, documentaries and shorts. DIFF debuted on 1 to 4 November 2012 in McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala, India.
