Ashwani Dahiya, Senior VP & Group Head at Reliance Industries resigns

MUMBAI: Ashwani Dahiya Senior VP & Group Head (Performance, Reward & Organization Development) at Reliance Industries has resigned. According to sources Dahiya brought in global best practices in rewards and recognition area and performance management for the conglomerate's employees. The XLRI graduate has worked with American Express before joining RIL in 2014 as
their vice president for HR across Japan, Asia Pacific and Australia . Neither Dahiya nor RIL could be reached for comment for this story. In the last one year the business house that has recently launched their 4G network Jio , has seen few main HR exits.In July 2015, Prabir Jha, then the chief human resources officer of RIL resigned and the post was taken up by Meswani, a cousin of Chairman Mukesh Ambani.

A few months after Jha left, some senior executives had also quit.They were -Harlina Sodhi, senior vice president and head of employee engagement, communication, diversity, HR Academy and change management; Rajeev Ranjan, vice president of HR for Reliance Foundation; and Vikram Bector, the chief talent officer.This year, Reliance Industries elevated Ashwani Prashara as chief human resources officer for its hydrocarbon business.
