Apple files application for patent of environment friendly bag

Apple on Monday filed an application for patenting a retail shopping bag, known as the “bag”. The “bag” is completely made ou of recycled paper. The documents required for patent applications has forced Apple to provide certain contextual information about the bag. Though, Apple played a smart hand by writing down valuable information such as “Bags are often used for containing items. For
example, retail bags may be used to contain items purchased at a retail store.”
The bag is an effort by Apple to reduce the impact of the production of paper on the environment. It is completely made of paper, including the handles. Though, the adhesive used in keeping the bag together is not made out of paper. The handles are to be made out of knitted paper strands to give users the feeling of the flexibility of actual fibre. these handles are to function like textiles and fold the bag, preventing any interference with any object lying around the bag.
the Apple bag uses recyclable material for about 10% more than other recycled bags. This is supposed to weaken the structural integrity of the bag , which is why is it said to be getting reinforced at all the pressure points. The patent has not yet been granted to Apple yet, though this is a genuine attempt by Apple to create something using recyclable materials. Since Apple’s reputation precedes itself in matters of the unique design of its products, the bag might also be a major surprise.
