Selena wins Teen Choice Female Artist 2016

Singer Selena Gomez won the ‘Choice Female Artist’ while Justin Bieber won the ‘Choice Male Artist’ at the 18th Teen Choice Awards 2016, held in Los Angeles. ‘Deadpool’ won the Choice Movie award in the Action/Adventure category while Leonardo DiCaprio was declared the Choice Movie Actor (Drama) for ‘The Revenant’. Five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant presented the Decade Award to longtime friend and global superstar Justin Timberlake, who has received 23 TEEN CHOICE awards .

The Australian rock band 5 Seconds of Summer and the all-female pop group Fifth Harmony each picked up three awards, while Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez claimed the choice male and female music artists, respectively.

Justin Timberlake accepted the “Decade Award” from ex-Laker Kobe Bryant and delivered a moving and inspirational speech: “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth, so be generous, be kind, be fair.”
