Mohun Bagan Football Club on 29 July 2016 conferred the Mohun Bagan Ratna on Syed Nayeemuddin, India’s only Dronacharya football coach. Nayeemuddin was chosen for the prestigious award for his overall contribution to the club and the country both as a player and as a coach.
