Google buys image recognition startup Moodstocks


The search giant Google has acquired Paris-based Moodstocks to bolster the image recognition features on smartphones. Moodstocks is a Parisian startup that develops image recognition tools for smartphones, The French startup Moodstocks co-founded by Denis Brule and Cedric Deltheil. Moodstock’s API and SDK will be discontinued “soon” according to an announcement on the
company’s homepage. But Terms of the deal were not disclosed and it is not clear yet how much Google has paid for Moodstocks.
