PANAJI: Goa Tourism once again received honours at the recently held Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) at Hyderabad 2016. TTF Hyderabad was held from July 15-17, 2016 at HITEX Exhibition Centre with over 182 exhibitors from 8 countries and 20 Indian States and Union Territories. TTF Hyderabad brought together various state tourism boards, national tourist offices, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators, travel agents,
travel companies, railway, cruises and other travel marketers under one roof. The Award for Most Innovative Product was received by Yogesh Naik, Marketing- Manager, GTDC along with Lawrence D' Souza of Hotel Mandovi. Goa Tourism put up an attractive pavilion showcasing its new tourism initiatives, activities, events and aspects which included monsoon tourism, festivals, heritage tourism, culture and cuisine, wedding tourism and a lot more.
GTDC also showcased its new tourism products and services such as hot air balloon, sea planes, amphibious vessels, heli-copter joy rides, the new user friendly web-portal and mobile app.
Goa's stall at TTF Hyderabad received an overwhelming response and a large number of travel and tour agencies visited the stall. The Goa stall was a massive draw for visitors on all the three days, marking an excellent response from both the trade and general public.
The GTDC officials also promoted its services, hotels and its packages to its visitors at the pavilion.
