Freedom fighter Sardar Pratap Singh passes away, LG condoles death

He has conveyed his deepest sympathy, sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family. In his brief message, the Lt Governor said that in Pratap Singhji’s passing away the Islands have lost a freedom fighter, a great patriot and a revered senior citizen of the Islands, who was committed to the cause of the people and welfare of the Islands. He further said the people of the Islands will always remember the contribution of Sardar Pratap Singh in the freedom struggle of the country and he will continue to be an inspiration to the people of the Islands.
