BJP to organise ‘Tiranga Yatra’ from 15th August

Following the success of the Vikas Parv, during which over 66 ministers and 33 party office-bearers took part, the ruling Bharatiya janata Party will carry out a week-long 'Tiranga Yatra' starting

from 15th August to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the country's independence. During the proposed 'tiranga Yatra', the government's 'pro-poor' policies and schemes will be highlighted.

At the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting on tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked Party MPs to raise the standard of discussion in the house.

The BJP Parliamentary Party gave the PM a standing ovation for his leadership.
